Every image on this page comes from the bakery's approved album, photographed at the Bloomingdale storefront by Skyland Creative. The album deliberately covers the whole bakery, not just cakes: decorated celebration cakes and cupcakes, fruit tarts and iced pastries, sandwich cookies and sprinkle-dipped biscotti, savory bakes, layered café drinks, and the bakery case itself. It's the most honest picture of what actually comes out of the Magpie kitchen — real bakes, photographed as they were sold.

One thing these photos are not: a live menu. They show past bakery work, and the Magpie case rotates, so a pictured item or design is not guaranteed to be available today. How to use the gallery before an inquiry

The most useful thing this album does is give you a shared vocabulary with the bakery. Before you send a custom-cake inquiry, filter the grid to the category you care about, save the photos that feel right, and note what's actually drawing you in — a color palette, a piping style, fresh fruit instead of heavy decoration, a shape, a level of formality. Attaching two or three of those photos to an inquiry, with a line about what you like in each, tells the bakery far more than a long written description. Photos are direction, not a contract: Magpie translates the idea into its own style and confirms what's feasible for your date.

The filters mirror how the bakery thinks about its own work. Cakes collects the decorated celebration pieces, from heart-shaped and wreath-trimmed cakes to berry-topped squares and frosted cupcakes.
